MiniVerde™ Ultradwarf Bermuda Grass has gone global. Golf courses in Malaysia, Indonesia, The United Arab Emirates and in Mexico have been planted with the number one ranked UltraDwarf in the most recent NTEP trials. By the end of 2009 MiniVerde™ will be grown on golf courses in 14 different countries on six continents. Phillip Jennings Turf Farms is the exclusive international exporter of MiniVerde™.
MiniVerde™ exhibits fast establishment without accumulating too much thatch. The maintenance cost of MiniVerde™ is less than that of TifEagle and Champion. MiniVerde™'s deep rooting makes it less susceptible to nematodes. MiniVerde™ keeps its color longer in the cooler months, more so than TifEagle and Champion.
In the United States in 2009 MiniVerde™ has already been played on at three PGA Tour events including the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. The season ending Tour Championship at East lake Country Club in Atlanta, Georgia USA.
